1990
Company founding Pol-Hun
The dream to found a company which would become the leader on both the Polish and foreign markets becomes a reality. Koluszki becomes one of the largest employers in town.
1992
Toilet rim block production launch
The first and, for many years, most recognizable General Fresh product is launched. At that time nobody even thought that our product range would grow hundreds of times over in such a short time.
1994
Winning our first global customer
We didn’t have to wait long for the first effects. We were noticed, not only on the Polish market, but also globally. It only confirmed our belief that establishing the company was a good idea.
1999
New, larger headquarters
Success requires space. Nine years after starting our operations the company had to expand its factory in order to meet the expectations of the market. We needed more space, so a new, larger headquarters was built in Koluszki, in 11 Listopada Street.
2001
Packaging line launch
Production picked up so quickly that manual packing had to soon be replaced with a packaging line. Otherwise we would not be able to handle the ever faster growing number of customers.
2002
Another expansion - new production halls and warehouses
Success requires even more space. After another 3 years we had to increase production and storage capacity again. At that time we already knew that we would have to go through this again at least once more in our history...
2003
For the first time we were awarded the title of Business Gazelle
The first of four Business Gazelles was in our hands. It is an annual ranking (since 2000) of the fastest growing companies. The award was valuable, especially because the ranking is run under the auspices of the Polish Ministry of Economy.
2005
For the first time we were granted the Quality Management System by TUV NORD, PN-EN ISO 9001: 2009 (continually maintained since 2011)
QUALITY has always been and will always be our top value. The ISO 9001: 2009 certification was just a natural consequence of our hard work.
2006
The launch of the plastic packaging line
Subcontractors no longer kept pace in providing us with plastic packaging, so we started our own modern production line. Since then not only the heart of the product, but also its packaging has left the factory in General Fresh branded cars to stores all over Poland and abroad.
2007
Cooperation with Henkel
Since 2007 each subsequent year has meant new global partners for us. The quality and commitment once again paid off with the trust of the market.
2009
For the first time we were awarded the Certificate of Business Credibility
I think we need to buy a larger cabinet for awards. Since 2009, we have annually received a Certificate of Business Credibility: "The Certificate of Business Credibility is a prestigious distinction awarded by Dun & Bradstreet. The prestigious group consists only of companies with the highest standard of stability granted by D&B Poland. Companies are certified whose financial data guarantees high-level profitability and financial liquidity, as well as whose level of debt and recorded overdue payments is negligible." 2013
Construction of further production halls and warehouses
One would like to say "I told you so." :) We have been growing stronger. It was no longer only the new production halls and warehouses (13,000 m2) that mattered... The company has been developing and it employed nearly 300 workers that year.
2014
Poland, Europe, Asia, Africa ... is not enough
In 2014, for the first time our products had to cross the ocean to reach customers. Since 2014 we have been taking care of clean and fresh houses in the USA as well.
